Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the independent provider that supplies the result service. Green Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the contents of that message and use them only to respond.
Routine Technical Data
The host may record normal server information, including an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We review it in aggregate for maintenance and readership patterns. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How Information Is Used
Information supports operation, security, traffic measurement, and improvements to the reference. We do not sell lists of visitors or construct individual visitor profiles.
Links and External Services
County and state portals, archives, library collections, and third-party search services have their own privacy terms. Those policies control material you submit after leaving Green Residents Directory, including information sent through sponsored-result tools.
Service Providers and Disclosures
Hosting and support providers process necessary logs. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires it and not for unrelated purposes.
Safeguards and Retention
The reference uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. There are no Green Residents Directory user accounts, passwords, or visitor profiles to expose.
Visitors Under 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect a minor’s personal information. If you believe a minor sent information to us, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Information Choices
You may ask to access, correct, or remove personal information that this private reference holds. The official research did not identify a comprehensive Ohio consumer-privacy or data-broker deletion statute. Because we keep little information, a request normally involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant logs, then removing what is found. Use the Contact page. Ohio, Summit County, and Green public records remain under their individual custodians; contact that office about a correction or redaction rule.
Policy Changes
Changes appear on this policy page. Continuing to use the reference after a posted change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
